Kindermusik with Brooke's Fall 2008 Session
Fall is a season of warm colors and frosty air. Take advantage of this wonderful time of year by bringing your child out to our studio, and take classes that will develop your child's language skills, literacy, listening, problem solving, social skills, self-esteem, and musicality.

Brooke Karr -Brooke Karr is a certified Texas teacher and has spent her entire adult life working with and teaching children. A graduate of Texas State University in Elementary Education, she has taught children from preschool to elementary for the past 10 years, providing her students with high quality instruction together with energetic motivation. Her other love is music, and her musical background includes: choirs, church praise teams, and musical theater. Brooke brings her love of children and music together in her Kindermusik classes, and sincerely believes in the value of early childhood music education which provides a foundation for future learning in all areas of development. Brooke is a part of a large international network of licensed Kindermusik programs, and is excited about sharing her love of music with your family.
Kathleen Wayland - Kathleen Wayland (Ms. Kat) has enjoyed the magic of music all her life. Her parents began sharing music with her before she could walk, giving her the best start in life. Having developed a lifelong love of music, Kathleen played the piano, percussion and sang in choirs all the way through college where she received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987. Kathleen has taught band, choir, orchestra and elementary music for 15 years in public school and at her church.
Kathleen opened Kindermusik with Kat! in the fall of 2003. Her studio became a Maestro Program (top 5% worldwide) in 2004 and remained in the top 1% and 5% for the next 3 years. After serving over 300 families in the Grapevine/Colleyville area, Kindermusik with Kat! closed because Ms. Kat moved with her husband, Alan, to New Braunfels . Kathleen and Alan have a very musical son, Evan.
